North Kaiser is a US company working with two practices in Türkiye: an architecture studio that designs our collection, and a furniture workshop that builds everything we sell. Every piece on this site is made after you order it, by hand.
Gazi University of Architecture and Engineering, 1994. Three decades on the fine work of buildings: private-home interiors, material selection on site, furniture design. At North Kaiser she draws the collection.
Gazi University of Architecture and Engineering, 1992. Founded the Ankara practice in 2002; projects from private homes to hospitals and shopping centres, and the Nazarbayev University campus in Astana. Working internationally since 2018 — recent interiors include private homes in Watchung, Verona and Fair Lawn, New Jersey. At North Kaiser he leads whole-room projects.
Making
Bulut Dekorasyon — three generations, since 1965
The first Osman Bulut opened a joinery in 1965. His son, Mustafa Selçuk, has been at the bench since he was nineteen and built the workshop we use today about forty years ago: 21,500 sq ft, with 17,000 sq ft of production and a 4,300 sq ft paint shop, turning out everything from carved neoclassical joinery to the organic forms we make today. His son Osman co-owns North Kaiser, and both owners are partners in the workshop itself. Nothing here is outsourced.

North Kaiser is owned by two partners who also own a share of the workshop in Türkiye that makes it. Between them they handle pricing, shipping and customs, and every customer conversation. Nothing ships without one of them seeing it first — the people who answer your email own both ends of the business.
What's ours, what isn't
Everything here is made to order in our own workshop. Today's catalogue is models we've been making for years, sold without a designer credit. When a piece is drawn by our architects at MİKON, it carries a Designed by MİKON credit — and any piece here can be commissioned in a new size or style. We'd rather tell you which is which.
