Selene Irregular Wall Mirror

Selene is part of The Rheia Collection: an asymmetrical, organic-shape wall mirror with a metallic lacquer frame. Where Hemera is uneven, Selene is calm — a softly rounded, pebble-like outline with a slim frame of even width and a rolled, cushioned profile that curves back toward the wall; the profile is shaped and sanded before painting. The same hand-painted finish catches light like brushed metal while staying as light as wood.

How it is made

The mirror is 4 mm glass, recessed into the frame so the glass sits flush and the frame carries the outline. Frame and back panel are cut from 18 mm engineered wood. The frame is primed, painted with metallic lacquer in several coats and finished with a clear protective coat; the surfaces that sit against the wall are varnished, so no bare board is left exposed. Because each frame is painted by hand, small variations in tone between pieces are part of the finish.

Hanging it

Hooks are already fitted to the back, and the box contains the screws and wall plugs you need. Sizes from 36" x 29" upwards ship in an oversize carton. Check that your wall can take the weight of the mirror before fitting it.

Lead time

Production takes 5–10 business days and delivery 3–7, so 8–17 business days from order to delivery. Made to order in our own workshop in Türkiye.

Keeping it

Wipe the frame with a soft, dry cloth only. Metallic lacquer marks more easily than a matte finish: do not use damp cloths on it routinely, and never use alcohol, ammonia, solvents or abrasive pads. Clean the glass with a lint-free cloth and spray glass cleaner onto the cloth, never onto the mirror, so that liquid does not reach the frame edge.
